Getting Started

What is myEmotes?

myEmotes is a library for discovering, downloading and managing emotes for platforms like Discord, Twitch and Slack.

Where do I find emotes?

Use Explore Emotes and filter by platform or type (emotes vs stickers).

Uploading

How do I upload an emote?

Sign in, then use "Add Emote" from the profile menu. You can keep an upload private or submit it for public review.

Which file formats are supported?

PNG, JPG, GIF and WebP are supported. Some platforms have additional constraints (size, animation, dimensions).

Why is my upload not public immediately?

Public uploads may be reviewed before being listed to keep the library clean and safe.

Downloads

What is the difference between "Original" and "Optimized"?

"Original" is the creator upload. "Optimized" variants are resized/converted for platform-specific requirements when available.

How do I use an emote on Discord?

Download the Discord-optimized file (if available) and upload it in your server settings. See Discord's guide .

Licensing

Can I use any emote anywhere?

Not necessarily. Each emote includes a license that defines how it may be used. Always check the license on the emote detail page.

How do I create an account?

Use the login page to sign in with a supported provider.

How do I manage my uploads?

Open "Creator Mode" from the navigation to see and manage your own emotes.
