Stickers vs emojis
Stickers and emojis solve similar problems but at different scales. Emojis are inline reactions sized to fit alongside text. Stickers are larger standalone images that send as their own message and read at full message-bubble size, which makes them better for punchlines, full-body characters and reaction-image style content.
Most chat platforms cap how many emojis can fit in a message but treat a sticker as one self-contained reply. That changes the design language: stickers can carry more detail, more text and more visual weight than the equivalent emoji.
